Wellness Garden

Join us for the grand opening of our Wellness Garden!

Rudy Moyer, our horticulture manager, will give the inaugural tour at our grand opening, explaining the design of the garden and the integral role our adult day employees play in maintaining the garden. See first-hand what produce is available for the community to purchase - eggplant, squash, herbs, tomatoes and more. All items are available in our Country Store.

After the grand opening, the garden will be open for self-guided tours during the hours of our Country Store (Monday-Friday 10a.m. to 7p.m., and Saturday 9a.m. to 4p.m.)

The Garden is made possible through the generous support of the Stark County Community Foundation and Sisters of Charity Foundation through their Future of Food Security Initiative.

Developed and maintained by our Wings program participants, the Wellness Garden provides training and employment opportunities for adults who have developmental disabilities. The Wellness Garden also offers educational opportunities to learn about gardening and healthy eating.

We are very proud and excited to be a part of the county’s Future of Food Security initiative and to offer these healthy food choices to the community. Read more about the generous funding from Stark Community Foundation and Sisters of Charity. All proceeds from this project will go to support the mission of Pegasus Farm, providing services to individuals with special needs.
