Adult Day Services - Wings

Logo of Pegasus Farm with a stylized winged horse head and sun background, and text reading 'Pegasus Farm Adult Day Services'.

Pegasus Farm is a certified service provider with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, offering a community-based, integrated vocational habilitation program and an adult day support program for adults with developmental disabilities. Participation in the Wings program is contingent upon eligibility for funding through Ohio's Waiver program, managed by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. The individual's service plan is done in collaboration with the Board of Developmental Disabilities in the individual's county of residence.

The Wings Vocational Habilitation Program

This program provides an integrated work setting where individuals work alongside Pegasus staff and serve the community at the Country Store. They earn minimum wage during the vocational habilitation portion of the day.

Work Areas

The Wings program provides a variety of work opportunities that are individually tailored:

  • Farm assistant

  • Stable assistant

  • Horticultural assistant

  • Retail services at our on site store - the Pegasus Farm Country Store and Gardens

The days also include therapeutic equestrian activities, including horse grooming and carriage driving lessons. The Wings program offers a unique setting on the Farm that not only includes vocational opportunities, but also therapeutic, recreational and social support. This gives each individual the opportunity to "soar to new heights!"

The Wings Adult Day Support Program

We are expanding our successful vocational program to offer adult day services for individuals who are not seeking employment or want to supplement their work week with meaningful opportunities to grow, connect, and stay active. In a warm, welcoming environment, participants build relationships, develop independence, and gain confidence and purpose.
