Non-Medical Transportation Driver
Hartville, OH
Pegasus Farm is currently searching for a part-time Non-Medical Transportation Driver to help provide meaningful work experience by ensuring that the individuals in the Wings Adult Day Services Program have safe and consistent transportation to and from the program.

Pay: Dependent on experience
Part-Time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week
Monday-Friday (mornings/afternoons)
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Training and/or experience in working with individuals with disabilities preferred
Valid Driver’s License required
Driving record with no more than six points
Must have valid liability insurance as specified by Ohio Law
Certified in First Aid and CPR
Complete testing for controlled substances
Have an acceptable BCI check with no violations involving abuse, neglect, assault, theft, or other potential client right’s issues
Must not be listed on the Ohio Abuser Registry or Nurse Aid Registry
Receive annual training in Incidents Adversely affecting Health and Safety
Ability to safely and effectively operate a vehicle with a passenger capacity of nine or more individuals
Responsibilities:
Provide non-medical transportation to individuals with disabilities in a vehicle with a passenger capacity of nine or more individuals
Provide services and support as identified in each assigned person’s Individual Service Plan (ISP) as it pertains to non-medical transportation
Each day the non-medical transportation vehicle is driven, prior to providing transportation to any individual, conduct and document a vehicle inspection on pre-trip inspection sheet
Complete trip documentation for each individual served in accordance with the individual’s ISP in a timely manner
Observe individuals served for signs of illness or changes in health and/or behavior and report to supervisor
Provide behavior support and crisis intervention as needed and supported by the individual’s ISP

Part-time CTRI and/or ESMHL/EAL Instructor
Pegasus Farm is currently seeking a part-time CTRI and/or ESMHL/EAL Instructor in the Hartville, OH area. The Equestrian Instructor would be an active member of the instructor staff with an emphasis on teaching therapeutic equestrian lessons that support the mission of Pegasus Farm. Three to ten hours per week depending on experience and scheduled programming. Potential to grow.
Responsibilities:
· Follow CHA and PATH standards as related to equestrian programming to provide a safe program for all.
· As scheduled, teach assigned program classes, including but not limited to; therapeutic/adapted riding, able-bodied riding, and unmounted equine-assisted learning.
· Teach curriculum based on the needs of the students’ levels of age & ability and/or chosen curriculum for a particular program.
· Direct and supervise volunteers assisting with students in classes and working in the barn.
· Report any volunteer needs and/or concerns to the Volunteer Services Coordinator.
· Complete assigned student progress reports quarterly; medical/behavioral, occurrence reports as necessary.
· Develop, maintain, and improve program materials and supplies for the betterment of the program.

Qualifications:
· Current certification with Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) and/or Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH).
· Experience with horseback riding and instruction.
· Experience in all aspects of horse care including barn management, riding skills, medical care, equipment, and tack fit/care.
· Current certification in CPR/First Aid.
· Thorough knowledge and understanding of disabilities pertaining to current students.
