Summer Art Programs
2024 Schedule
Pegasus Farm will offer a variety of summer art classes. These art programs are designed for children 8 to 18 years. Students have the option to enroll in all of the programs or just those of particular interest. The programs are open to children of all abilities, although some eligibility criteria are established for each program. The cost per registration is $70.

Students will make their own art journal with simple bookbinding and paper making techniques. They will be inspired to fill its pages during hikes around the farm using various art mediums and techniques. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes suitable for hiking! Only a few spots left!
Art Journaling & Papermaking

Wearable Art

Students will experiment with fabric dyeing to create their unique art shirt and jewelry-making techniques to create pendants and bracelets of their own original designs. Projects may include, but are not limited to, wrapped wire pendants, polymer clay, and recycled paper beads. Only a few spots left!
Painting and Mixed Media Art
Date: June 10, 12, 14
Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Students will learn the basics of painting with acrylics and watercolors while exploring a combination of mediums including, but not limited to paper mache and air dry clay.
Pottery and Sculpture
Dates: June 24, 26, 28 (Full)
Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Students in this class will create glazed clay and ceramic projects along with unique sculptures made out of polymer clay, wood, wire, beads, and countless other materials.
